Food intake guideline for improving circulation

  • Onions improve blood circulation. Also, onions reduce cholesterol, lower blood pressure, and thin the blood. They prevent platelets in the blood from sticking together and forming harmful blood clots. Onions decrease the risk of heart attack and stroke.
  • Brussels sprouts are helpful for poor circulation, and are good in the winter to help keep you warm. They protect against coronary artery disease, and lower the risk of heart disease.
  • Oatmeal and oat bran increase the blood circulation. Also, they are useful for lowering total cholesterol levels. In order to improve blood circulation it is important to remove from the bloodstream excess cholesterol. Oatmeal and oat bran raise HDL (good cholesterol) and lower LDL (bad cholesterol), thus improving this important ratio between good and bad cholesterol. They prevent heart attacks, strokes, and high blood pressure.
  • Mango pulp with fresh squeezed juice of it improves sluggish blood circulation. It lowers blood pressure. Also mango, lowers cholesterol, and useful for arteriosclerosis. It reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke.
  • Black currants improve circulation, and make stronger immune and nervous systems.
  • Pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain that enhances the circulation, reduces the clotting of blood, and reduces the blood pressure. Also, bromelain reduces the clogging blood vessels that lead to dangerous arteriosclerosis.
  • Fresh squeezed red and black raspberry juice from both species (take either one separate) is beneficial for poor circulation, and high blood pressure.
  • Fresh squeezed spinach juice is useful for circulatory weakness. It is helpful for both (blood and lymph) circulation.
  • Wheatgrass juice is speeding up blood circulation.
  • Fresh squeezed grape juice improves blood circulation, reduces blood pressure, and lowers the blood-acidity level.
  • Fresh squeezed tomato juice stimulates circulation and the heart function. It is highly cleansing to the liver (especially with pinch of cayenne pepper thoroughly mixed in it). Use only fresh squeezed raw tomato juice because there is big different between cooked and uncooked tomato juices. They have opposite effects on the body.
  • Fresh squeezed beet juice is improving circulatory weakness. It widens blood vessels (which is useful for person with hypertension). Since beet roots are powerful kidney and blood cleansers, they should be used moderately. An ounce or two of beet juice mixed with other juices is plenty. Squeeze beet juice right before consuming because otherwise it will transforms in a very toxic nitrates, which can cause a serious poisoning. This all can occur after keeping this juice 1 – 2 hours before using.
  • Fresh squeezed sweet pepper juice is useful for circulatory weakness.
  • Watercress juice is useful for circulatory disorders, and it is an excellent source of chlorophyll.
  • Fresh squeezed dandelion green juice is useful for circulatory weakness, arteriosclerosis, and heart disease. It is a powerful cleanser and alkalizer of the blood.
  • Fresh squeezed endive juice is useful for circulatory weakness, and heart disease.
  • Fresh squeezed parsley juice is useful for circulatory weakness. It stimulates oxygen metabolism as well as cell respiration and regeneration.
  • Fresh squeezed kale juice is useful for circulatory weakness. Kale’s high chlorophyll content helps to increase the oxygen and red cell content of the blood, thus improving circulation and cell respiration.
  • Oolong tea, especially the type Pu erh, is helpful as a circulatory stimulant and tonic for blood vessels.
  • Garlic improves circulation, and is useful for blocking arteriosclerosis. Also, garlic has the ability to reduce the total blood cholesterol level.
  • Ginger increases and improves blood circulation. It prevents hardening of arteries (arteriosclerosis), thins the blood and helps reduce blood cholesterol. You can use it as a tea, as a seasoning, or you can cook ginger root.
  • Turmeric (you can use it in form of seasoning) is useful for poor circulation. Turmeric prevents the internal blood clots that can trigger strokes and heart attacks.
  • Cloves increase circulation of the blood. Cloves are especially good for those people with cold extremities.
  • Capsicum or cayenne pepper significantly increases circulation. Cayenne pepper is useful against arteriosclerosis. It improves the ratio of HDL (good cholesterol) and LDL (bad cholesterol). Cayenne pepper lowers triglyceride levels.
